Balcony Doors

It was mentioned in the Leaseholder meeting last month that some of the balcony / patio doors are starting to break or fail. We understand that they are proving to be difficult to repair or replace and so we are happy to coordinate placing an order with a local supplier who has already successfully replaced a balcony door at Bridgefield Court.

Any replacement doors must be like for like in accordance with the terms of your lease.

These doors are the responsibility of the leaseholder, so any repairs or replacements would need to be paid by the leaseholder but we are able to get a discount on an order of 5 or more if we have enough interest from leaseholders.

We have contacted the local supplier – Warrington Glass, and received the below quotes and lead times:

To supply and install 1 x A-rated grey on white inline patio sliding PVC-u door with side windows would be  –  £2343

To supply and install 5 x A-rated grey on white standard opener PVC-u door with side windows would be  –  £9425

In order to proceed we would require a 50% deposit and final balance within 7 days of completing the works. The manufacturing of new windows/doors and doors currently takes around 4-5 weeks.
