FAQs

I’ve lost my key for the communal front door?

Horizon can arrange for a replacement key to be provided at a cost of £20 which includes posting and packaging to an address of your choice.

How do I get an electric meter reading?

The meters are located in the ground floor meter room.

How do I report a repair?

Please email Horizon and ideally include photos, to our central address hello@horizonmanagement.co.uk.

How do I report noise nuisance from a neighbour?

When are the bins collected?

Do Horizon manage repairs inside my apartment?

No, unfortunately, we do not, however, we may have a local trusted contractor that we can refer you to.

Will there be an AGM for the block?

Yes absolutely, these are really important, and they can be very sociable occasions and a great way for us to meet residents. We hope to hold a meeting each year in the summer at the block on a weekday evening.

Can I suggest a block improvement?

Yes absolutely, it’s really good for us to have feedback from residents about what work could be done to improve the performance and aesthetics of the block. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

How often will Horizon visit the block?

We expect to visit blocks under our management on a quarterly basis, however when necessary, this can be increased. Do let us know if you wish to meet us when we next visit – we are always keen to help you put a face to a name. Also, our contractors that conduct routine maintenance at your block for Horizon are our eyes and ears, therefore we always ask them to let us know of any issues seen.

Do I pay ground rent to Horizon?

No, contact your freeholders managing agent for queries about your ground rent.

INSURANCE POLICY

SERVICE CHARGE & BLOCK ACCOUNTS

At Fairway View all leaseholders contribute to the block’s running costs through a service charge apportioned equally to all eight apartments.

The leases state that the Service Charges should be invoiced quarterly, therefore this is what each leaseholder will receive, however, leaseholders are welcome to pay on a monthly Standing Order.
